I don't know what to think of this. :help:
We have good goaltending, but shitty defense.
Can we please dress Fauser as a d-man and scratch Reul & Schopper? :naughty:
Expect Niederberger back in goal btw. He'll be pissed, if they ruin his GAA.

I can see this match as duplicate of yesterday’s one. Germany to kilo Slovaks chances to reach QF with 7-2 win.

Let's go Germany.

Though I expect a clear US win, they have skilled players who can break through the German neutral zone deffense just like Canadians yesterday.

I hope the boys are done admiring good hockey plays and getting destroyed.
Some help from the special teams would be nice aswell.

Auf geht's!

The whole arena will support Germany frenetically, but the quality of the US team is simply too high, and the US guys know they have to win to secure their QF spot. They will destroy Germany by quite a margin, some 6 - 2 or so.

I'm thinking Hughes explodes in this game, showing how much better he is than Kakko.

Hughes doesn't need to break out, this tournament is just about getting him experience. people just falling into recency bias who've probably never watch him or Kakko play before. He's on the third line barely getting any minutes, it's fine he isn't dominating. let the kid learn.

It makes a little sense to compare Kakko and Hughes now. Different roles in their teams, and most importantly: Kakko is physically already a strong, mature guy. Hughes will become much stronger during the upcoming year or two. They are both immerse talents and prospects of the game.

wow.....................Germany gets the first one.

This U.S team really needs to start to get things together in this tournament, they need the Canada game to break out of what is ailing them imo.
