You guys are getting better all the time.

In 15 years you could join Sweden as the next Scandinavian force to be reckoned with.

Thx you for the compliment but we wont......we have 4000 players of something..including girls!

We will never be as good as sweden.

If there was any doubt Denmark is really good with the bulk of their NHLers, it shouldn't be anymore. They just lack a middle ground of guys to really compete for medals.

So Finland doesn't count as Scandinavia? I know that there are different definitions, and that linguistically Finland is separate from those other countries, but usually they're also counted as Scandinavia.

It would be great to see them all play together as it has never happened, so hopefully we qualify for the next olympics.

No, I don't believe Finland is part of Scandinavia.

They are different.

unfortunately yes

Good for the Czechs for 1st place (and for Hungary), bad for Denmark vs. the Swiss.

However, I assume that you'll get 3 pts vs. KAZ. This means that the Swiss would have to get at least 4 pts between Sweden & Czech to make the quarters.

Scandinavia is Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

The Nordic countries are Iceland, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

lol this game, oh well... Congrats Denmark, well deserved win, Eller/Ehlers/Jensen are money in SO, soo good. Dahm was fantastic. Obviously, rather loss now than in the QF, nothing major happened, we are still in good position before the game vs Switzerland.

Germany won clearly (3 points) against USA so everything is now more interesting.

It was sloppy game from us, no shooting, or shooting from bad positions, playing around the corners. Meh.

Let's take it as a good lesson and move on.

I sure hope Sweden wins tonight and Denmark finishes the job tomorrow, so we dont have to wait for Sui-Cze tuesday..

I think Denmarks A-team could get medal in World Championship.

Hansen - Nielsen - Bødker
O.Bjorkstrand - Eller - Ehlers
P.Bjorkstrand - Regin - Hardt
Storm - J.Jensen - N.Jensen

Jensen - Larsen (Jokerit pairing)
O.Lauridsen - S.Lassen
M.Lauridsen - Kristensen

The middle ground are already there. It is just a matter of getting it all together, but thats not a problem that only Denmark has. However we still have to play guys in Allsvenskan when we have someone turning down due to injury or other reasons.

As Justinov says, it will be really interesting to see what kind of team we will get together for the olympic qualification this september.

Yes, looks like really great team but Someone?! DAHM!

Great win for Denmark. Dahm is such a beast. He's won them a couple games this tournament. Looking good for a QF spot

Due to the between Sweden & Switzerland, the Czech Rep. has secured one of the top 2 spots in Group A and, thus, avoids Finland or Canada in the quarters

...which I find as a great news..:handclap:

now there is second main goal and it is to stay in the group ahead of Sweden and play QF in Moscow. It means at least one point against Switzerland..But I hope that we get all three and secure first place.
