Assuming that Germany wins this one it means that if Germany beats Slovakia tomorrow it is over for the Slovak hopes of QFs.

However, if Slovakia wins tomorriw they have the advantage but Germany can still hope to get surprise points against USA, Canada and Finland when as Slovakia absolutely must win their last three supposedly easy games.

Slovakia's win against the USA may turn out to be a decisive factor getting to the QFs.

Similarly, the last second goal by Canada may turn out to be decisive factor for Slovakia not getting to the QFs.

Important win. Will be interesting to see how we fare against better teams, Slovakia tomorrow is going to be a tough opponent.

Now the time of real nail-biters begins for us. The match tomorrow against a desperate Team Slovakia on their home soil will be a tough challenge. Almost as difficult as solving the finnish robots around Superkaapo.
One thing's for sure: if we continue to take this amount of penalties, we're going to pay for it sooner or alter. Also, we need to learn how to capitalize on our own PP chances, because you simply need to be able to score on a 5on3 PP, if you want to beat stronger opponents.

What? :D

Germany looks like a team that could pull few surprises. They are solid defensively and difficult to play against. They seem to me like a potential dark horse for this tournament.
