Whistle will be backup. No I like it here in make believe land. This Canadian team lacks punch but Whistle will not be able to stem the tide. GB knows their real chance is against France...punchers chance against Denmark. They hung really tough today against a good German team.
Agreed on nothing to lose...I do not see how you can go back to back with Bowns after the effort he expended yesterday. There are bigger games ahead. I would be fine with GB staying up...hope they can as this French team is nothing special at all.Whistle will be backup.
No way GB will sit Bowns unless he's knackered or injured and there's no way Bowns would willingly sit the game versus Canada.
Today is essentially, 'lets go for it, we have nothing to lose and lets show these Canadians that we won't roll over for them'. Will we lose? 99% sure we will but we're playing for pride, even if it gets to 7-0+ I'd expect our guys to still give it their all.
Jost is playing today as 13th Forward. He arrived in Kosice a few hours ago!Any chance Dubois or Jost plays today? What's the best place for lineup news anyway? I checked team Canada's twitter account but it seems pretty dead.
It's on the main tsn channel.is this not televised in Canada? I've got Overwatch League on TSN4 and Latvia Switzerland on TSN2
I get one tsn channel and I am sitting here watching it right now. I only get their main showcase channel so I can't understand what's going on for you there.TSN4 is the main TSN channel
In their position that's not a bad way to go.GB play a very very interesting style of hockey. They just swarm everything like crazy.
In their position that's not a bad way to go.
Yep, for sure.Yea their legs will be burning later and Canada can sauce it and screw them.. but given the disadvantage in skill it makes sense.
Brendan wasn't selected but there was the potential that it could've been Perlini vs Perlini.. despite GB's Perlini being Canadian Born and Canada's Perlini being GB born.Is there a Perlini playing for Canada?
