I think Slovaks will create good resistance for first 30 minutes and then lose 5-3.

Expect both teams to have problems with scoring in their first game. But especially us being nervous playing at home. 3:1 for the US.

It is good for the group that the expected 4 teams to go through will start by playing against each other. Fin-Can tomorrow and Fin-Svk on saturday.

Finland or Slovakia could be on 0 points after two games and thar would make the group interesting.

This USA team looks so strong, even if Slovakia has a stronger team than normal it will be tough to hang on. Slovakia should have a pretty good chance against Finland in game 2, if their confidence doesn't end up in ruins before then. It's gonna be a tough back-to-back.

Totally unpredictable

Obviously, USA looks so much better on paper but you never know how they will adapt to each other especially at the start of the tournament.

My prediction: Slovakia scores first, but the USA strikes back and takes this one at the end, albeit not by a big margin. Some 4:2 or so.

USA as one of the real contenders for the trophy will be too much for us. But I am hoping we will play well at least. 4:2 for USA
