aside the big hit and unfortunate injury this is the most boring game i have ever seen in my life, also the most quiet fans in the history of the universe. amazing

That definitely was clean hit, and it does seem like Jensen's head was unfortunately low due the angle he came to the corner. Hope he will be able to carry on in the tournament either way, as he seems such a vital piece to Denmark's team.

Hopefully Denmark and Dahm will able to win clean, but as long as DK wins, I'm happy!

EDIT: Jinx...

Weber nice goals, some of the fans also woke up although most of them have already passed into coma

No charging, his feet weren't moving. The only possible call would be boarding.

I know. It's just there are powergliders, like Scherwey or Ambühl, who are able to maintain so much force without skating, that it results in comparable hits. I ve seen quite a few refs whistle that down.

Schneeberger really looks like a Baby-Josi nice.

I'm a bit confused, as it wasn't called charging, but IIHF rule 122 defines charging as "A player who checks an opponent with unnecessary force or who runs at or jumps into an opponent will be assessed at least a minor penalty."

Ambuhl's feet clearly left the ground, so isn't that jumping? Or does it need to be more pronounced?

The way I understand the rule, you can call charging if the player jumps or if he keeps skating into his opponent, so if his feet left the ice it should indeed be charging, but I don't think they did (I focused on Jensen's head during the replay).

He stood up into the check, and was at least very light on his feet late in the check.

Yeah Nino!

god that is so sad...but we strecthed ourselves too thin:(

But im not too pissed actually...we are doing well to far in this tournament

Huge comeback, never thought that after the first two periods.

Quarters are still very far away.
