Agreed, that is simply put ridiculous. One post being off that little had no impact on the goal, if it would've gone in short side I would understand it, but this?

That should've counted. The posts have come off very easily all tournament though, they should really do something about that. Imagine this happening in the gold medal game.

In the NHL, the goal will count anyway if it is determined that it didn't impact on whether it would have gone in or not.

IIHF has to figure this stuff out.
