This looks like a very different Swiss team today. My god Matthews is good, shame he wasn't eligible last year. Exactly what Arizona needs.
 
That Detroit scouting staff doesn't look as good as they did yesterday. :laugh:

I'm surprised the game has turned out like it has so far. I thought this was going to be a tight checking low scoring game.
 
How has Mcavoy looked so far. I'm curious for a draft prespective. He is projected mid to late 1st rnd

Seems like the US scores everytime they get into the offensive zone. Schmaltz scores 6-0.

Could be a pivotal game for the US if there was a tiebreaker (assuming it goes by Goals For)

That's why I think the IIHF needs to balance the schedule. Switzerland were playing their hearts out yesterday against a Canada team playing back to back... and less than 24 hours later they have to play a rested USA team.
