In all honesty, it's because he should be A LOT better than he's shown. He's had a very disappointing tourney so far.

Sanheim had a good shift there offensively. I think the top 4 are better defensively but we could use his offence and decision-making right now. He set up that rush that ended in a Dermott shot.

Sanheim needs to play PP though. That's nuts that he doesn't.

Sanheim has not been on the ice for a goal against in the tourney. Or in the pre-tournament. Or against the CIS warmup games.

This is literally the softest team Canada I have ever seen. Barely anyone finishing their checks out there. I'm not sure I like this new approach to picking teams. Left some tough 19 year olds at home (i.e. Hawryluk)
