So this makes NYE game against Swedes meaningless...BUT for bragging rights...

Like to see Blackwood get the start...

its like canada is coaching to lose. very interesting choices all game long.

That's why Jake was picked 6th overall. He can screw up every shift and still be one of the most dangerous offensive forwards.

I would like to point out, Sanheim has that great shift creating 3 scoring chances, then Hicketts pairing goes out, then the Hickey pairing, then back to Hicketts who stays out for almost 2 minutes. Then back to Hickey pairing for last 25 seconds.

Sanheim never gets a shift after creating all those chances, yet the other pairings both get out 2 times. Favorites much.

It's Ryan Murphy all over again.

I get that this is a back to back... but there's no way this should have went to OT. Their goalie stood on his head.

There goes our chances of finishing in the top 2.

USA and Sweden will both have at least 9 points - cannot see the U.S dropping anything to the Swiss.

The max we can finish with is 8. Finland-Canada, QF book it. Somebody is going to go home VERY disappointed.

feel like hoping/cheering for a Swiss win in OT. The Canadian program has been very poorly run at the junior level for years now, this could shake it up.

Strome out there the for like 2 minutes. This coach has no idea how to control ice time.

This is a problem. I notice it too. Too many star players playing like it is the OHL/WHL. You can't have tired players out there in this type of tournament. Has happened far too often this game. Marner, Point, Strome seem to be the biggest culprits.

The shifts are way too long, especially for the second of a back to back. Lowry really doesn't seem to know how to manage this team in terms of minutes or rolling lines.
