This is embarrassing and disrespectful to the kids playing the game. I understand disappointment. I would have been disappointed as well.

But there are lines we should not cross when it comes to respect for your adversary.

I completely agree. That is an extremely ignorant post.

Canada got gifted a goal but they looked more dominant to me this game. Also, really nice play by McDavid on the goal.

They reviewed it and it was deemed a goal according to IIHF rules. End of story.

Oh well. Canadians can have this game, their time is running out anyway. Can't wait for the USA hockey domination that will happen in 15-25 years

Its reached the point where I feel bad for Gauthier

Why? He's clearly no superstar, but he keeps pace no problem, had a huge PK earlier in the game. He's looked fine to me. In fact, I don't think Canada has a single player playing poorly right now.

But then again, I'm not really into the whole "pump your guy's tires and trash everyone else's" game.

Hopefully the Americans will be more competitive if they meet again in the medal game. This one has been very one-sided.

It didn't hit his arm. Goalie interference isn't reviewable and IMO didn't happen on that play.

I thought it hit his right arm. But regardless, there was at least some contact with the goalie in the crease, and he was denied the chance to make the save.

Because Demko was shoved into the net lol

not really, Thatcher was on the goal line to start and finished there, the only time he moved was when he put his glove in the mid section of lazar and the stick between the legs.

Yeah. Probably still going to be a great 3C for Toronto who makes sure their PK is top of the league.

I dunno if I'd want Gauthier in a third line role at the NHL level, I personally prefer my #3 centre to have more puck skills than he has shown. 4th line centre and heavy PK minutes, though, seem inevitable to me.

The U.S. isn't even close to being on Canada's level this year. Score is very flattering. I don't know how you could watch this game and not come to that conclusion.
