Not everyone needs to be Scott Stevens. As long as he's playing well who cares? Sorry, not picking on you because I know it doesn't come from a place of ignorance. But there are a lot of people on social media that just cannot get past Miller being 6'4 and not a physical force.
I appreciate your measured response to my post. I don't think Miller needs to be anywhere near the physical presence of Scott Stevens. I do believe he over relies on stick play when he could body-up at zone entry and be more effective. He gets away with it more often than not because of his skating ability, but it often extends defensive zone time and the transition to offense. My 2 cents.

Or, the Rangers played so well that they neutralized the Senators.

And to your comment about serious opponents. What about the games against Caps, Stars, Knights and Avs?
He was a top performer against all of them.
If we had two options - Rangers played so well that they battled a strong opponent in Sens and so forced them into submission or Senators came into this game unprepared - I'd strongly lean into latter if I had to choose. Example of the former - what happened last night.

Why is it so painful for Rangers fans to ever give the team credit? Do you just get off on trashing the team that it pains you to give them credit when they play well?

I guess all everyone has to ask themselves.......can you recall ONE instance where Trouba skated the puck out of the defensive zone and through the neutral zone and then creating a good zone entry?

If you want to take the defeatist approach fine, but you didnt respond to the part where Mika and the team showed up against several top teams.

We can't ever give the Rangers credit for anything, just blame. Rangers fans are bigger haters than Devils fans. Legit I was on their board yesterday and there seemed to be a begrudging respect. The most hate you'll get for the Rangers is right here.

I was talking about this specific game and nothing else.

Speaking of defeatist - let me know when your boy gets back to the levels we expect him to play at - what we’ve seen even with the recent “resurgence” is a barely a sad shadow of that player.

If half the board had its way we would have traded him and seen him become an absolute force somewhere else. And then it'd all be "f*** Drury!" and "fire Drury!"
Agree about that half the board mutiny. I simply don't see how trading away a still young (for a defenseman) with all of his attributes, would lead to something eqivalent and certainly not better. He just needs to play consistently good like he has the last 4 or 5. I believe he can.

Boyle's take on the Rempe effect on the latest podcast is hilarious. He put doubters on notice.
Saw that. He kliterally called any doubters "idiot's" and they don't know what they are talking about. "Intimidation, is a REAL thing, and nobody enjoys a punch to the face". Gotta love it, Boyler!

No more? Can they do that? I mean, is liking posts a BAD thing? Semi-relevant......My sister has a shirt that reads........Relax, it's called Sarcasm. Well, that's my mantra, I'm pretty well known for that. Think she bought it to direct it at me. She doesn't know I read it though, haha.
