obviously a GM who doesn't f*** up in the first place is preferred but too many GMs in many sports just stick to their guns in fear of admitting they messed up so good on him for at least trying

Every GM f***s up. There was a time Yzerman was considered best in the league. Drury still has much work to do but the moves he has made, have worked great so far. The D-men and Kaliyev. If he can get a physical top 6 player and a top 4 D (he has plenty of assets to deal and cap space to work with) the Rangers are as good as anyone in a wide open east.

As much as I have been critical of Miller, I have to give him his do.
His play tonight was borderline terrific. What is he so intermittent with this type of game.
Nice to see this team come out of the funk. The fourth line has been picking up the slack while we wait for the “ core “ to get well
Nice stretch. Keep it up against Avs and Canes

Sam Carrick was a fantastic signing

Did Will Borgen fix K’Andre Miller? Miller’s game has been getting better and better the last couple weeks and right now they look like a legit solid pair.

Braden and Urho have looked great together as well.

Adding Borgen and Vaakaninen has really stabilized the group.

Igor has gotten back to normal, too. He’s been dialed in. Make no mistake, he was just as culpable as the rest of the team towards the end of the slump especially. If this game was in December he would’ve given up 3 goals in the 2nd period alone, probably gives up a second goal in the first too. He’s been great and that’s exactly what we expect from him and what we need from him.

You can set your watch by him, save percentage follows a U shape every damn year other than his Vezina year. I wonder if some players just can't stay focused and on their game throughout a full season. I feel like at his best he's no worse than Hank. However, Hank's slumps weren't as long.

Great win. Fox and Igor look back to their old selves, and the defensemen individually and the team defense is night and day compared to six weeks ago.

The schedule is only going to get harder, and this team desperately needs its top two centers, Laf and Kreider to be much, much better.
Nothing wrong with Vinny's play ! Stop going by just points. Vinny was the main guy giving it 100% even through the funk. He's the leader of this team full stop.

Borgen has turned Miller's game around. Some of it probably is because Trouba is gone. I no longer want to trade Miller. Drury should resign Borgen. If he leaves it will be like losing another Stralman except with size. Lindgren's game has picked up but I still want to trade him. The defense had an A+ game. Defended well and put up a lot of points. 3 goals and 8 points from the defense this game.

Did anyone notice a huge scar on Borgens neck in a recent interview? It turns out he was cut with a skate during a game when he was 17, just barely missing his cartotid artery.

Turns out we had an eye on him for a reason. Totally saved our horrible blue line.

If we can nab a 1c somehow we'd be pretty prime for success.

Borgen separates players from the puck with physical board play - What a concept! Hope it is contagious where other teams forwards do not get a free entry/exit from the Rangers defensive zone. Miller would be much more effective if he upped his physical play.

Not everyone needs to be Scott Stevens. As long as he's playing well who cares? Sorry, not picking on you because I know it doesn't come from a place of ignorance. But there are a lot of people on social media that just cannot get past Miller being 6'4 and not a physical force.

Borgen can also somewhat hold onto a puck with a forechecker bothering him. The second someone was on Troubas back the exit was cooked
