No wonder why Igor said what he said in that interview with the Vietnamese news outlet, makes so much sense now.
"I feel so safe and powerful when he's on the ice. I feel like I'm 8 feet tall. He's the most important
guy in our locker room, so much testosterone and masculine energy. I've never seen anything like this
in the KHL, AHL, or NHL. We are blessed to have him as a teammate. His effect on us has saved our season, we call it among ourselves, I don't know how to translate this in Vietnamese but it's something like the Rempe Effect. If you don't believe it by now, then you don't know hockey."

How ironic would it be if after all we've been through the past couple of decades, we finally won a Stanley Cup in this kind of weirdass season?

I watched the 2010s Capitals put together absolute powerhouse teams just to blow it in the first two rounds every single year.

Then the one time they actually win the Cup its their worst iteration of themselves. The discount costume Party City Capitals. It was stupid as hell to watch.

Basically what I'm saying is, there's definitely precedent lol.

Inevitable Chytil injury/trade is going to hit like a lead pipe to the head. K’Andre/Borgen awesome. 4th line great again. Igor feeling it. JT miller is an element they need but I think the rangers should be cautious with what they trade. We have cap space and futures. Prefer to trade non-Perrault futures than roster players.
