Best shutdown line, sure.
I was wrong. Best line, periodt.
Was absolutely wild how many people wanted to break this line up. After tilting the ice against tampa and Cooper moved Kucherov to a different line to get him away from them. Still saw all sorts of fans moving Amadio to the 4th line. And they have been for awhile.
Forward lines look good. When Jensen is healthy I would slot him above Zub but they are at least a pick 'em.I'd wager that we go with this in the playoffs...

On another note, our D has the most clearly defined rankings 1-6 in team history. I don't think anyone can argue that our D best to worst is...

Our new Vermette - Kelly - Neil line, although they were a 4th line at times.
I'm still surprised Green moved Amadio for Zetterlund. I get he wanted to provide him more of an opportunity, but this line is the definition of how every line should play and compete. Was absolutely wild how many people wanted to break this line up. What about Schaefer-Fisher-Havlat?The Pinto line should be etched in Stone (pun intended). This is the type of depth you win with. They give Ottawa another 2nd line really. Line 2b for now.
As I had said a few weeks back, this iteration of Amadio is a good 2-way forward, you can see he learned a lot as Mark Stone’s linemate in Vegas. The way he casually wins battles and steals pucks, mostly with his stick, reach and positioning despite not being the fastest.
I stand by declaring this the best 3rd line since Schaefer-Fisher-Neil. The only 3rd line better was Arvedson-Bonk-Hossa when Marion was a rookie. Magnus Arvedson was a Selke runner up.
I loved that line too. Pinto line is better. Neil was the right fit as Havlat was more suited as a top-6 forward. Such was the depth when you’re playing behind Alfie and Hossa as a RW.What about Schaefer-Fisher-Havlat?
Schaefer-Fisher-Neil is another good reference for them. Honestly, with another round of tweaks this summer to fix the Stutzle and 4th line + 3rd D pair, we could be in the cup mix next year. The Pinto line should be etched in Stone (pun intended).
