Defensively conscious bottom 2C, good on the faceoffs will net a late 2nd rounder from a playoff contender

A team like Avs desperate for a 3C & Guerin has long been rumored interested in Dvorak.

I was thinking about Roy as a starter yes. It would make the package more interesting. Not sure if the 2nd would be enough, they might want to have worst of MTL/CGY 1st top 10 protected. But at 33 years old 2nd might be enough depends on what other teams would offer for him.

O'Reilly would be an interesting player to target for sure, would fill a need.

edit: now that I think about it, I think Dvorak, Roy and 2nd would be enough for O'Reilly.

Yes I think you're right. And he's about to turn 34 in febuary. But he's still gonna be good for a few years. You can tell he's one of those guys that are aging very well and gonna remain productive.

You’re talking about a team that extended a 5’11” 30 year old goalie and traded the top goalie prospect in the world, and also traded for Justin Barron. Barry Trotz is a bad GM to date.
