Well GB is proving that teams will really have to respect them next year or they might just end up like France.

They still have his rights? If they have, he could sign ELC deal and grind through the AHL imo to prove his worth.

But the best for him would be to stay atleast one or two year in Europe (Sweden/Switzerland) to prove that he can be consistent in better league, he played in Swedish 3rd tier league last season where he did not even had PPG.

But he has some potential, if he continues to improve then getting a chance in North America will happen.

For sure, and all credit to UK.

But they can’t use this tourney as a benchmark - Super weak tourney this year. super weak Danish team, super Weak Swedish team, not the best Slovak team we have seen either - Not even the best Russia team.

But I agree, it is perhaps
time to respect them and not underrate them.

For sure both Denmark and Belarus have done so so far, same with SVK.

But damn this is a fun game tho.
 
I think the benchmark is too strong of a word but this Belarus team is very close to the best possible and the score isn't even close anymore.

Shostak really made himself a disservice by throwing that Slovakia game, Taylor has no business being in goal in important games these days.

Admitted, I know NOTHING of the Belarus team.. Like I know some of their imports, thats it.

But this is weird - Just like DK yesterday, Belarus are better than this.

Has to be some typical Belarus breakdown.

Or, the Brits just play an annoying type of Hockey.

Kind of like how the French play/played.

No doubt that they are punching above their weight tho - Mostly a team of ageing UK league players.
