I've had this book for years, believe its from 1992/1993 (given Lemieux is on the cover and has a SCF patch).

Haven't read it in years, curious if anyone has this as well or something similar?

If anyones interested in a particular section, PM me and I'll share what they have.

There have been 7-8 versions of this book. They used to update it every couple of years. It was one of the first hockey books I ever owned. I think the one I had went through 93-94. I began reading it right from the start and probably got to about the 1930s before petering out. I kept it around for reference though. I've since replaced it with one that goes to to 2002.

It's not an in depth resource at all. Really basic, high level stuff but the timeline, featurettes and annual summaries are neat.

This book is almost entirely responsible for me knowing who cyclone Taylor, Newsy Lalonde, Cy Denneny, Babe Dye, Clint Benedict, Frank Neighbor, Frank Boucher, and Nels Stewart were by the time I was 20.

Consequently, my first ATD team (ATD8, 2008) featured Denneny, Dye and Stewart. It didn't do well. Got great value on those players, but too many slow, bad defensively goal scorers in my top 6 to be taken seriously.
