He's a buddy of the coach and he played with Staios... Unless he commits an axe murder on ice, I suspect nothing is likely to change. Bad enough he wasn't bought out this summer, he has been playing way too high up and way too many minutes in the D pairings. I attribute much of Sandy's poor play this season to a loss of confidence from being boat-anchored by Hammy. He may be a great veteran in the room, but his play does not justify him playing at the NHL level.

I've defended the guy for the 3rd pairing in limited minutes, but it's starting to be costly with how much he's played with Sanderson. Gotta be some solution to this beyond just waiting for Zub. They need an in season depth move.

Not impressed with Peter's choices of tender on numerous occasions this year. Forsberg should be the clear backup playing 22 games a year if this is what we get, which at this point we know this is what he is.

Gotta be some reasonable in season solution, but it doesn't seem like they're interested in addressing it. With how much time Zub misses, and the team trending up, it seems reasonable to explore now.
