Really weird schedule: first 2 games over a seven day stretch, then potential for three games over a 4 day stretch.

it was my first game this season. Commentators were not helping and teams didn't play their best. I hope playoff will change it.

I just do not see why the NHL does not take better care of their player sin the AHL, including scheduling. I get the profit motive but you always see these quirky schedules in the A. At least spring for commercial plane travel.

It's a big break for the playoffs to start in 9 days lets us get a couple practices in build some familiarity with ASP and MBN
Why is the playoffs starting In like 9 days ??? Sounds pretty crazy to start that much later

Our luck we get Texas round 1
We get a bye in the first round. Will play Texas in div semis.

The AHL starts their play-in rounds on Wed for all 4 divisions to complete the divisional semi-finals. If the Griffins lost in regulation last night, the Griffins would have played Rockford and we would have started this Wed. It would have given less time for the 2 new guys, plus less time for Soderblom to heal his injury.

A series against Rockford could be a blood bath.

The bye was nice though for Soderblom though for sure. He could be a massive factor in a playoff run

Probably 60 points. Maybe 70 on a career year. I don't see anything wrong with any of his individual tools, and I find his hockey sense to be quite good. He's just a two-way center at heart.
Big key to unlocking Nate's max offensive potential is getting him to use his shot more. He's always going to be pass first but he'll open up better passing lanes if he can prove that his shot is something to respect.

He has a good shot he just has to shoot with more conviction and purpose.

And that’s a tremendous pick at #9. Few players picked after #5 achieve those totals.

I personally believe he could become as good a scorer as Larkin (70-80 point seasons at his peak) but with much better defense. That’s a 1st line center in just about any era.

I have a feeling that Kasper and Danielson push Larkin over to the wing within the next couple of seasons.

I hope Danielson and Larkin mesh, you could also then have a dominant hand draw line for crucial game junctures.

I am a big believer in Danielson, he reminds me quite a bit of Larkin when he was a prospect.
