Ooof. Wolves score the game winner 30 seconds after GR ties it at 4-4..... 38 seconds remaining. Coughed up another one that they controlled all night and likely should've won.

Kaser at the end; "They keep finding ways to lose, the Griffins do. This'll go right in there along some of the more difficult ones to swallow."

Campbell

Danielson: A+
• Nice goal off a hell of a shift lastly merely 32 wseconds into period 2. He got the puck in deep, forechecked hard and poked the puck to Tuomisto who just kept it in and poked it back to Nate who spun off the boards and had a good chance. He then dogged his own rebound and it came loose from Tokarski. He stayed behind the net while Tuomisto was all over the puck and then timed himself perfectly to drop into open space below the faceoff circle and drove the net, backhand stopped but finishes his rebound off the forehand

Took Becher's great zone entry on the PP and in support took the puck, then sent a beauty cross crease pass to Gettinger's tape. He didn't finish. Later that PP he entered the zone cleanly and fired that patented cross ice pass to Hanas for a great chance

Shorthanded 2 on 1 bid 5-hole denied

Late 3rd he came into the zone flying, stopped up, carried around over top the circles and fired off a wicked wrister that Tokarski got a shoulder on and it popped just over the net

Lombardi: A
• Excellent assist to Rafferty wide open in the slot. Another sick assist where the Wolves player was skating out the zone during the empty net and Lombardi busted his ass and picked the pocket, fed Snively for a chance that Watson cleaned up

Good work attacking loose pucks offensively

Had a good defensive shift in the 2nd- anticipated the pass, then working hard to come up with the puck. When players start crossing over with one another, he tends to get chasing and lose coverage. Needs improvement if he wants to play down the middle at the NHL

Tried too many moves on the PP at the blueline, fell down, and coughed it up where Campbell had to stand tall on the breakaway chance

Wallinder: B+
• Decisive, accurate passing was prominent tonight much like it has been lately

Nice play along the boards in the o-zone to spin, evade checks, and find Hanas with a soft backhand pass. Another play later

End 2nd period off a faceoff he actually raced around from the boards to catch his man heading straight to the net and anticipated well to get a stick on a cross crease pass intended for his guy. Went to the boards to poke the puck free and Griffins exited the zone

One pass up the middle got partially picked off but Seger rushed back to go the other way

Near end of the 3rd, he had a chance to get the puck out twice and did not get enough mustard on it. Forehand and backhand attempts

Early on he was not balanced enough behind his net and got pushed off the puck for a wraparound chance against

Buium: B+
• Good body position and stick to neutralize play below the goal line. Good work using the body to eliminate his man on the wall at the blueline and send play out of the zone

Good game today, but it appears he's slowing down a bit. Will need to hit the gym this offseason and get the legs beefed up imo

Tuomisto: C-
• TERRIBLE pinch, flat footed trying to poke at the puck just outside his blueline caused a 3 on 1 and the Wolves score the game winner 30 seconds after GR ties it. 38 seconds remaining. Absolute killer. C- rating because you just lost the game when your team was fired up after tying the game 30 seconds earlier

Couple decent shots on goal back-to-back in the late 1st and the second one he drifted around and timed it well when Snively fed him for a one-timer chance

Great heads up play after blasting a bomb into a Wolves player to feed Danielson cutting in from the boards and Nate finished his own rebound

Just a note, he does have some minor inconsistency in terms of breaking the puck out. Either that be tape to tape, or off the glass

Becher: A-
• Nice goal, noted below

Sick zone entry on the first PP, went through the D stick handling kinda like Datsyuk, got knocked a bit off balanced but stayed with the puck at the boards and tipped it to Danielson in support

First to a loose puck on the boards and chipped it to Hanas to create a 2 on 1 the other way. Hanas got denied on the shot. Later that shift, he times it perfectly to find himself in front of the net all alone and off a great heads up pass from Hanas, Becher takes two cracks at it and just get the backhander across the line

Never gave up on a play at the end of a great shift and drew a tripping penalty. Late on that PP, he almost tucked a sneaky one short side on Tokarski
