I’m sure Danielson “did a lot of great things” but wasn’t rewarded with any points.
His lack of production is annoying, but nothing to be alarmed about.

Obviously if next season he’s still not putting up points there’s cause for concern. But we aren’t there yet.

We need him in Detroit, not Grand Rapids next season. I am hoping to see a jump in his play. It's still early, so I am hoping he starts kicking it into high gear.

It is such a great position to be in. I have been a fan of the Wings since the early 90s, and we have never had such a good goalie prospect as either of them. In the long run, we won't be able to keep both, but hopefully one of them can fetch a real good return.
He doesn't get alot of respect, but Jimmy Howard was a very good goalie prospect (and a decent NHL goalie until he discovered Donuts).

I don't disagree there. I think he was great for us, and he got a lot more hate than deserved.

I just think Augustine and Cossa will be better

Howard was a solid pick and a very good player for us. But I also hope these both turn out better. We got Howard at 60 and didn't have to trade up to do do. So draft value should/hope they become better.🤷‍♂️

So has it been two weeks now for Mazur? Wallinder still not playing. Husso not on the game sheet. They have lost Kasper for good. The Griffs are holding up pretty good considering

Tough loss. The Griffs got too cute on a lot of plays where they could've buried it

Cossa played well. Lombardi solid play with a goal. Becher IQ is good but he's gotta get faster and stronger because he doesn't have a ton of standout physical tools

Danielson is fun. Makes a lot of underappreciated offensive plays cause he's very cerebral. Driving the puck to the high danger areas too. Getting PP1 QB time too and I'm happy that Watson + co. are trusting him already like this because he's doing well with zone entries and QBing. I believe the points will come just like they did for Marco last year

Becher just had knee injury, so give him some time

Thanks for the report. Nate's skill set, as you outline, is why I thought he could fit right away. Kane, Tarasenko, Cat, Raymond are the top 2 line wingers. Any of that combo he will work within as he is a set up guy who thinks the game well and plays the entire sheet. That helps the offense, but no questioning Kasper brings more grit.
