After two back to back shutouts and despite not having Matthews Robertson or Galchenyuk on our roster we are playing a solid A to A+
Keefe best coach since Pat Burns and Pat Quinn

This looks like the best Leafs team in a lllloooonnnngggg time.
Only time I can remember us looking this good with this confidence was when Sundin, Mogilny, and Roberts were wearing the blue and white, and before that.. Gilmore, Wendel and Anderchuk. Amazing feeling... I hope they go far this year and even if they don't win.. continue the dominance into future seasons after this one and they will eventually win that cup!

A+. this team is still top tier in the league offensively but has finally joined the upper echelon of defensive teams. Being top 6 in GA/G when Andersen has been questionable in the best offensive division in hockey is a massive improvement.

You give them a A only because of the level of competition they are facing. But other then that it would be a A+ start so far for sure.
The North is not the worst division in hockey. Even then the Leafs don't control who they play, they only control how they play. They are an A+. They have been elite offensively and defensively while having the best record in the league by a solid margin.

I remember an A+ being a 93% or better back in high school. There are still little areas of improvement for this team, but I have no problem giving them an A+. We're suffering from injuries but our depth is stepping up and scoring. Our superstars are flying, even though we want to see more from JT. Andersen has had a few bad games, but our goaltending depth has been performing (who the hell could have predicted Hutchinson playing this well?). Our defense is legitimately excellent. The team is committed to their structure and give 60 minute efforts almost every night.

They're producing at an elite rate. They're defending at an elite rate. They're competing hard with elite consistency. Slam dunk A+. There's always room to improve, but I'm happy to heap praise on them right now.

Thing is though, the playoffs are the final exam and it's worth 90% of the final grade.

I've started agreeing with people who say the North is the worst division in hockey because in just one nod of my head I can say that all the other Canadian teams totally do suck. Never before have we had such an easy opportunity for efficient trash talk!

A+

1st in the league in points and point percentage, 2nd in goal differential and goals for per game, 4th in goals against per game. All of this despite plenty of injuries. We’re basically doing everything really well except physicality.

Yeah the North lacks another elite team, but Edmonton, Winnipeg and Montreal would all be likely playoff teams in a normal season, and Calgary and Vancouver borderline playoff teams. Plus there’s just a lot of parity in the league. Dominating the division as we’ve done so far is impressive.

With the struggles of Tavares and Andersen, i can't quite give them an A+ yet.

Especially if we go right back to starting Andersen every game.

A+ I dont see how we could be graded less. I have zero complaints which is amazing.

A- ,,,the North div is on the squishy side,,ya ya i know,,that is not their fault but it is still a thing

and i dropped them 1 grade (almost made it 2) for still being a bag of wimps

Marner get ganged on by Leon Draisaitl ,,our response???? nada

archy knees our tender in the head and puts him on the IR,,our response???"""nada

chiasson cross checks vesey in the effn head after the game,,our response???,,,nada

oh,,,,,,,,,, and that was just the last 2 games

Canadian division teams don’t count. Any evaluations are inconclusive. Only teams in the other divisions playing the same teams, same amount as Canadian division are contenders. Some really unbelievable content on the board lately i tell ya.
Leafs are best in the League for multiple reasons and looking comfortable at it.

There's room for improvement so I think giving them an A+ is too much. I don't vote in polls but if I did, I'd have to go A- or A I guess.
