not easy to "judge" as we are only playing against Canadian teams not like the regular NHL schedule

I wonder how well would we have done if we were in the Atlantic division competing against bolts and bruins for top 2 spot.

So put the top 3 of maybe 5 teams in the same division, that's fair. Any other division would be weak by comparison. Yet that's what we lived with up until now.

Hard to say only playing the same teams. I judge them relative to my expectations for the season. Right now, A+.

Could be a lot better in some areas. PK, dealing with losing leads, smoother breakouts, generating chances when leading, fighting through traps, etc. Lots of things to improve on.

Gave them an A- because my expectations have been high, but they are leading the league in points and percentage. Anything less than an A- would be too critical.

Big lead in first and deservedly so.

Does it matter? Probably not.
There is no reason we can't be in the conference/semi finals.
Those grades are going to matter most.

A+ people here don't realize how deadly the offense is in the north, anything but A+ while contending for a top spot in the whole league is impressive. And this team is far from Carlyle or Babcock days, strong defense, superb offense, good goaltending.

Leafs are 1st overall. Anything other than an A+ is self loathing

Went with A.
They've been amazing. Legit contenders.
A+ to me would mean they have the best goal differential in the league and are 18-2-2 or something ridiculous.
The last win was the most complete game from start to finish i've seen in years aside from some early period high danger scoring chances.
We've come a long way. The defence has really levelled up.
Everything has gone as planned and seems to be working

My 3 keys to this season was 1) Matthews and Marner going to another level offensively (becoming top 5 instead of top 15-20) 2) the new acquisition's being better then the guys leaving (on less money) which they have been and 3) improved team defence from all 18 skaters and goalies. All 3 have actually happened.

Literally only thing I have is a mini nitpick against is the PK.
