Cuylle is playing with so much confidence in his game right now.....imagine him playing along side Crosby .
I agree. He is a very good goalie. Not great7 years, $8.5 million/year.
That's my only and final offer.

The Igor talk here is nuts. You don’t pay him to steal regular season games every single time the skaters leave him out to dry. You pay him for the playoffs and he is reliably incredible in the playoffs.
9% of the cap back in both of the Cup-winning seasons for the Kings. How much did cup winner Quick cost e.g.?
9% of the cap back in both of the Cup-winning seasons for the Kings.
By contrast, Shesterkin at 12M would be just under 13% of the cap, which isn't really that huge of a leap, and Igor is a much better goalie now than Quick was back in the Kings' winning years.
By contrast, Lundqvist signed his new deal starting at 12.3% of the cap in 14-15, which ended up going to 10.4% by the end of his career.
Price of the brick goes up. It's more than reasonable to pay one of the best goalies in the league that % of the cap.
Igor has a better career playoff save percentage than Quick - I wouldn’t say he’s extremely fragile mentally. Is Igor really a much better goalie? Both had two great seasons and a bunch of other seasons where they were up and down and both were better in the playoffs than regular season. Igor is extremely talented and extremely fragile mentally.
So should we not pay Panarin? He hasn’t won us a cup yet. Laff just got $7m to not win us a cup yet - how silly. That's fine. Igor can win us a cup then we pay him $12m. Not before, that would be silly. In fact, there are plenty of goalies who have led their teams to cups without a $12m dollar salary. How much did cup winner Quick cost e.g.?
