I've actually seen videos on youtube about how to successfully get away with it. All you have to do is keep yelling "AM I BEING DETAINED", and keep doing so until the officer says you're free to go. If the police officer still keeps asking you to get out of the vehicle, simply just ask for his superior officer. When his superior comes, just tell him you won't answer any of his questions, and that you know your rights. Works like a charm every time.
