Brooks is back?
The day of the draft, everything I read was how he was struggling with injuries. His last 6 finishes were:

MC last years Masters
55th last years PGA Champ
55th last years US Open
MC last years Open
46 Asia tour this year
MC Asia tour this year

To me it looked like he barely played the last year and played awful in them all. He looks great now though. Ass.

TS sure has the best team on name/past....I just thought DJ and BK lack of playing would matter. So far, nope.

Brooks won a couple LIV events leading up to this week, so it seemed like he shook off the injury and at least had a chance. Didn't expect him to look this good right out of the gate though.

Well he finished 24th and 27th on the LIV tour pre-draft. And only speaking for myself, it seemed like his injuries and issue had not shown any signs of getting better. Based on his name, he was still a consideration of mine but when I saw all these results, it seemed like a year long of multiple issues he was dealing with.

Post draft, he won the LIV event. If that win was pre-draft, he likely isn't a 4th rd pick...lol. He is such a great talent that if healthy, is a top player in the world...as we are seeing this week. Great pick by you for taking the risk on his health and being rewarded.

As a golf fan, him vs Scheffler would be a great Sunday matchup. Not good for the pool...lol...but great for golf fans.

I once was a golfer. In fact I got my 2nd letter [ 1st for Track] in high school for it. Could NOT hit a No.1 Driver for crap. Switched to a 1 iron; yes a 1 iron.
Got to play on a number of championship courses in Delaware. This was 1968. Played against many that got scholarships to college. Lost many a game 5 and 4. Had a great teacher in Johnny Long, the golf pro at Louviers-DuPont . He was on tour in the 50s. But I lost interest and played just a few rounds the last 50 years.

No Captain I do not think Missouri is the deep South, but Georgia is......

Great album. bluesy and jazzy . I think they even had a top 40 song.

I think Brooks wins it, but his 2-over on the back 9 this am and Hovland coming off 5 straight birdies is a question…we’ll see how it plays out. Rahm can shoot 5-7 under any given day.

Supposed to be windy but clear the rest of the day in Augusta.
Loved Hovland's back 9. Wouldn't mind seeing him come from behind and take the green jacket. Either way, it should be a good finish
