OT: Golf 2.0

I just ordered a new 3 Adams Tight Lies fairway metal
Taylor Made is going to get this brand going again after purchasing them back in 2012 for Adams technology at the time.
So it being sold only as a 3 or 5 wood for now.
I’m pretty excited to see how this works.
They are very inexpensive compared to Taylor Made’s fairway metals.
A couple of years ago i bought and got fitted with Titleist t-200's . Got fitted for the very first time and my handicap at the time i was a 17 . I finished the year off at a 11 , never been that low in my life. The new fitted clubs definitely help , either that or it's all in my head but i don't care it was well worth the money.

Yes we have to do that, hopefully we can this year. I don't care how good or bad someone plays as long as everyone is having a few laughs and having fun . That's the great thing about golf with handicaps if you play for any thing, anyone can play anyone......Sandbagging bastard .

I'd recommend golfing with Agar, Turtle and squirrel any day. Tons of fun, wobbly pops consumed. No money involved, just a good time. They're all out there. Keep that in mind and you'll be alright.

Getting the golf itch...

Not poison ivy either...

Green grass... a warm breeze... 3 other Aho's drinking beers with me...

4 and 1/2 hours of disengagement from most everthing unless we wish to discuss it...

Yes we are degenerates...

Yes absolutely, 6 months of no golf and now i need to play damnit . I always hope we are golfing when the Masters starts because watching that from such a beautiful golf course always makes me want to play. I am very glad i got to see and walk that course, just incredible.

Yeah, anytime now would be good. Great fall last year but definitely have the itch. On the plus side the snows of late haven't been too bad, unlike Thunder Bay that got 30cm yesterday. Ouch. But it's that time where winter can f**k right off thank you very much.

Bought my wife a set of clubs. Time will tell if that was smart or not.

That's a very good question, you will have to keep us updated on how that goes with your wife. Normally we go somewhere in the winter and i can get some games in but too many friends and relatives in the hospital to get away. We went to Nashville at the beginning of November last year and got a few games in but that's 5 months ago, i want to golf and pull the car out damnit. There are some really nice courses in and around Nashville by the way .

The half dozen tracks between Osoyoos and Okanagan Falls are all open and in good shape. My wife and I are joining another couple from Winnipeg this afternoon for 9 at the Nk'Mip resort and then cocktails. Man, reading greens on these mountain side courses is a challenge. We're back home a couple of days after Easter and hope that the courses around home are going full tilt.
Cheers.
