Big Art with a team best 71.15 xGF%, still wish he let that one chance rip though, he seemed unsure what he wanted to do.
The Rempe Magic continues
Yea. Once the intensity returned, it's the same team as last year with the same warts. It's amazing what can happen when you act like a bunch of professionals.
He and Fox once again had impressively disparate analytics. What should worry everyone is that if the hang around they're almost 10000% going to self rent Lindgren.
He is a problem. This was not a solid effort for him. Almost anything Vegas generated was on the back of him either being Iso'd on the PK or f***ing up at ES.
Yes they've now pulled their record to .500 with Rempe in the lineup and .500 on the season overall.
The magic of mediocrity!
One might say they played hockey. They pressured the puck all night. They didn't fall back and give up the blue line and they stood up a lot more than they've been doing. They battled on the walls. They had layers. They blocked shots. They also pinched very well and kept plays alive.
Their record with Rempe this season is 4-2-1.What should worry everyone is that if the hang around they're almost 10000% going to self rent Lindgren.

He’s like a poor man’s Will Cuylle. I approveBig Art with a team best 71.15 xGF%, still wish he let that one chance rip though, he seemed unsure what he wanted to do.

Late in game, Schneider pinched and Laf covered. It's a lot easier to pinch, stand up at blueline, etc when the forwards are supporting. They pressured the puck all night. They didn't fall back and give up the blue line and they stood up a lot more than they've been doing. They battled on the walls. They had layers. They blocked shots. Led the team in xGF%I liked Kaliyevs game tonight. He did a really good job winning puck battles along the boards and was good enough defensively.
You are a brave man.I voted for Zibanejad. I know his shot caused some collateral but I thought he was a factor.
I try my best to call it as it goes. He's been good. You are a brave man.

Honestly haven't watched pretty much any hockey since like mid November because life got in the way but was like f*** it, it's late, painkillers kicked in so I'll turn on the game tonight. This team can't piss me off right now. Then I see everything you've said up there and I'm like "What has everybody been complaining about" but really, I too saw that swarming to the puckhandler and getting into passing/shooting lanes and general stuff on the d-side that this team doesn't do enough of.They pressured the puck all night. They didn't fall back and give up the blue line and they stood up a lot more than they've been doing. They battled on the walls. They had layers. They blocked shots. Villain Chris Drury replaced Barclay Goodrow with a much better player at 30% of what Goodrow was making in Carrick.
