A few of the casinos have recently changed their drink policies, so depending on where you go, "free drinks" may not be as plentiful as before.

This makes no sense to me. Just because the VGK are in demand doesn't mean finicky Las Vegans are going to second tier games. It would probably be like when the ECHL team played there. They may get 4,000 fans and NO television.

Yes, i can see no TV. However, AHL has a very nice streaming package (AHL.tv) with many/most venues having 1-2 HD cameras.

Would be closer for call up. (While San Jose and Winnipeg share their arenas with their AHL team, Toronto, Montreal are among the teams that have their AHL affiliate "in the same town".)

Also has good footprint for Tucson, Palm Springs (Seattle future AHL affiliate), Ontario, Bakersfield options.

The league nominally wants relocations for the upcoming season "set" by December or so (so they can begin work on the following season's schedule).

What would stop the Golden Knights, if they own the Wolves, from packaging the TV rights together?

I thought it was a bad idea to move them to Vegas at first but now I think it could be good for a few years while hockey is hot and if it doesn't work after that then there are a few cities in Nevada, California or Utah nearby they could relocate. Make the Vegas money now and go somewhere they could make money if hockey fever cools off a bit. AHL clubs relocate sometimes.

Someone would have to lose a LOT of money to televise a LV AHL game. Unless they wanted it to look like the local high school football show, Thursday Night Lights. That's why they should have their own market. SLC, Boise...

TV coverage of AHL team might reduce # of folks from attending (cause they can't watch otherwise, unless they buy AHL.tv package).

Organization may need to pay to air games (as opposed to being paid to air games, such as NHL).

All depends on if the organization wants to incur that cost.

I think it could be exciting to have an AHL team here. Especially if the games are at the Orleans. If the average ticket price in the A is $35, that could be much more affordable for those who can’t afford going to a Knights game. Also the ease of going to the Orleans is something that I miss.
