To no one's surprise, the US are in the finals. Swedes were a very likely candidate as well.

Should be a good match. Watch out for the US first, second, third and fourth line. They're all good.

Need strong showing from goalie Hävelid, I hope Leo Carlsson is back (Out 3 last games) and Salmonsson will be back from suspension

Sweden beat USA in the pre-tournament in a shootout.

USA has been rotating goalies, but I believe it’d be a big mistake to continue. The better goalie played in the SF. The other guy isn’t bad, but there’s a drop-off.

Sweden doesn’t have the forward or defensive depth to match the USA, but much closer than the other countries.

I think probably about a three goal USA win is in order, but this USA team is not unbeatable and Sweden is the team in this tournament that I’ve been saying would have the best chance to beat this American team.

US of A don't take any prisoners, i don't see them losing this one either. Hävelid played a good game against Finland, he should be able to keep the numbers somewhat close. 5-2 'merica wins.

Let’s hope for a good game that isn’t over after the 1st period. I think it’s going to be a rather easy win for the US however.

The US team is a lot of fun to watch. Lots of skills and skill plays. They haven't been pushed much so Swedes not to keep it tight and close for as long as possible. They're capable of that and have some great scorers themselves. I'll say 60-40 US. With no Russia I expect to see Sweden/Finland winning lots of medals!

No Carlsson seriously hurts the swedish scoring depth. Especially since they insist on isolating Suzdalev on the fourth line.

The latter 2 games I included were their A team in the preliminary U18 Worlds games, so they're not including "any and all results."

Team U.S.A speed on display in transition the first minute of this game, it will be a long day for Sweden, really need to be sharp defensively and limit those turnovers to stay in this one.
