As someone who has spent a lot of time in both countries, I do find it hilarious how each country views the other.

One thing that's for sure is Americans don't care about Canada, but Canadians seem to be obsessed with the US.

Americans don't know shit about what's going on in Canada and don't care to. Not necessarily a good thing but you've got a fair point.

My own personal observation is: Canadians are lovely people unless the topic is Hockey Canada or their personal favorite Canadian team. Canadians can get pretty vicious when it comes to puck.
