Zegras talked a big game and is backing it up with a great performance. He is a difference maker.
Liked the end of the 2nd from the Canadians though, need to build off it in the 3rd.
A little OT would be fun....

Because most of those instances the kids grow up in the states. If you’re raised somewhere you’re going to have more of a connection to that place. If AustonMathews has a son born today and he plays for the leafs the next 10+ years and his kid is raised in Canada he’s probably going to feel like a Canadian.
Understandable but how often does a kid born/raised in Canada with a
non Canadian dad choose to play for Canada instead of Finland, Sweden, US, etc.?

Zegras has been the game MVP though for sure. Been making great plays on both ends. Also props to American defense. Not having a challenging game but they're doing every little thing right and denying the forces that Canada is trying to put on net or through the crease. No easy sticks on pucks.

If USA wins I just hope canadians don't try to downplay the game and are good losers. It has been a great game.

Watching the pace of this game and I’m certain the future of hockey in North America and the NHL is in good hands.

Outstanding pace, physicality, and skill on display in the game. It’s been an entertaining game.
Oh yes. These kids are crazy good.

Wrong. The Zegras goal was kind of a broken play and Byram made a good play behind the net to get it up the boards. Otherwise there hasn't been much to say Byram was in the US end for the majority of his shifts.

EDIT: just clued in you're a Sens fan. It's clear now.

If you think everyone criticizing Byram in this thread are Sens fans, I don't know what to tell you. :biglaugh:
