Much of the same weaknesses all tournament for USA. Not a good possession team and defense very vulnerable to a good forecheck. Lucky to only be down one. Hopefully they can overcome it next period.

But defending our own net scares the shits out of me.
USA already got very juicy rebound and scored on it.

It is time to WAKE UP in defensive zone and not to give more rebounds for USA.
Because those guys will score on those 10 / 10 times so show some freaking
gritt and toughness in defense if you guys ( Finland ) wanna win this.

We do not have afford to turn this game for goal-scoring contest because that's exactly what USA wants to.

USA in not a bad spot. Not playing well and down 1 - difference was the PP opportunity for Finland which they cashed. USA needs to start working harder and skating into the challenges/puck battles instead of reaching. Find a way to earn a PP chance of their own. Hopefully the intermission will calm them down a bit and start playing their game.

I think our biggest problem is we are really a one line team. We can get secondary scoring here and there, but the ice only really tilts when the first line is out.

Goalies are too slow to make desisions to avoid a save. Slower shots and it would be 4-3.
