What i meant to say is that in Finland it's so different than in NA. Guys who play hockey and actuallty dedicate their life for the sport are not the "popular" kids in highschool or college. The ones who do get drafted 1st round are actually most likely the nicest kids on the block too. That's the difference i tried to tell you, most if not all kids in Finland has the dream of playing for the national team, and thats it.

I might be wrong but when you put actual kids on pedestal and/or let some college kids think they are the shit, it might have some unwanted things happening

Last period against Sweden was bad but before that we have played as good or better than our opposition (Slovakia & Sweden) and don't forget the US game. I don't get this downplay of Finland all the time.

I don't have any trust on Lauri Mikkola's game plans because there are still fatal holes.
Also last years U20 WJC bronze game meltdown in 5-2 lead was so embarrassing as ever could be.

We don't have afford just defend and expect to survive if we have 1 goal lead in 3rd period.
USA has for sure done their scoutings on Rimpinen after that 3-4 overtime loss in preliminary round.

The color of Finland's medal is heavily depend on that which Finland shows up when game begins.
If it is that Finland what we Slovakia game's 1st period then we may have chance to win.

But if it is Sweden game's 3rd period Finland
which shows up then don't have a chance to win.
Also Rimpinen has stand on his head basically whole tournament
that god mode or hot steak cannot continue forever because it is not likely.

USA is as dangerous what Sweden was.

It's gonna be a real hockey battle. As far as what the Finns think of college players, they laugh at the notion of still playing against juveniles.

NCAA is 99% adults. CHL is the league with juveniles, and if we base it off Team Canada’s conduct, it’s mostly juvenile delinquents
