In the 27 years since the Soviet Union's collapse, the Russian system has not managed to teach their players to win faceoffs. You'd think they would see the problem and figure it out.

Instead they keep losing faceoffs and getting themselves in trouble. It is stunning.

And it is the same broken record every year, every tournament.
