International gold medal games are boring when not all the teams can ice their best line ups. Canada really is the only country that can have a competitive roster even if they don't bring all their stars. The hockey world is just too small, hockey is too uncompetitive of a sport outside Canada.

It's too bad because hockey is a great sport. But watching football is way more satisfying in that regard.

not really. i mean. Canada hasn't been past the quarterfinals in 5 years. i don't think the lack of of competition is there at all.
