For example in Sochi they both had 1+1 in their first 5 games. The difference being that even though Crosby wasn't producing, Canada was still abe to win games easily.

If Canada can use their powerful offense, they should be able to win. But Russia has deadly offense and Canada's D and goaltending aren't very good. If Smith can hold the fort it should be a win, but we've seen him letting out a ton of rebounds. Difference is Canada isn't allowing second and third chance opportunities.

Not worth them to come all this way, especially since it's goaltending and they need to be at the top of their game. After a massively long flight I doubt they can just jump into medal contention games. lol

Canada's defense is the best of the tournament. Good luck getting by them. Seriously. Canada has 2 dominant shutouts in a row. Might be 3 tomorrow.

If the US shutout Russia for 40 minutes, it's not looking good vs the best team.

Would have grant gold to usa of the top 4 teams, mainly because of ex-Jokerit player Moses, but to be honest Canada - Russia final is more interesting one.
