Didn't Canada beat France 4-3?

If Bobrovsky is on, Mike Smith could definitely lose this for team Canada. This game should be a beauty. :handclap:
 
Should be a good game. Canada's team is obviously better, but Russia has the better goaltender and forwards that can bury their chances. I wouldn't be surprised to see either team win, but I would be surprised to see a low scoring game.
 
Canada's defense is the best of the tournament. Good luck getting by them. Seriously. Canada has 2 dominant shutouts in a row. Might be 3 tomorrow.

If the US shutout Russia for 40 minutes, it's not looking good vs the best team.

yeah.but we have a good recent history against Canada at the WC. Hopefully Canadians know about that too :naughty:
 
So Russia has Ovechkin, Malkin, Kovalchuk and Tarasenko…ouch.

Will be a tough game.
 
If there is one thing that can break through Canada's defense, it is Russia's offence.

However, the Canadian forwards will abuse that Russian defense.
 
Yeah Canada kind of has to outshoot Russia by at least a 2:1 margin to win because of the goaltending discrepancy. Should be a close game.
 
Canada's defence isn't all that great.

Smith has been wobbly at times.

Could go either way, but I'd have to think that Canada are the favourites going in.
