What’s fishy about it? One ambiguous play due to the camera. The stick lift was an obvious penalty. The playing the puck with a broken stick was an obvious penalty.

Linesman appeared to indicate a penalty. Might have been a technical issue the camera considered in play.

This was Russia's game. Canada's game tying goal should not have been allowed. Delay of game bot called that would have give Russia a 6 on 3 PP was another ****ed up by the refs. Feels sorry for the Russians as a Canadian.

Are you really forcing yourself to apologize to Russia for poor reffing, as I recall, Canada also took a lot of penalties. Refs were equally awful for both sides.

A: Should've been a delay of game and a 6 on 3 (the fact it was a TSN camera is legendary)
B: Russians regain possession and broken stick on the point shot - talk about awful timing.

Those are 2 just awful bounces for the Russians.

Having said that.. skating with a broken stick and the stick lift weren't the brightest moves

Well can't say that as they still scored when needed and Russia blew a lot but the reffing the whole tournament was absolutely ridiculous.
