One of the very best men's Team Canadas ever. But congrats to Sweden for a great tournament and putting up a fight until the end.

He should start stepping up in these big games for once so he doesn't have to put that face on all the time

Puts together all of these great regular season performances, but when push comes to shove he seems to have trouble handling the spotlight

It's too bad because he's a solid goaltender otherwise

Anyways, losing Sedin and Franzén before the tournament was really tough. Steen got concussed and hasn't been as good as before. Same with Loui, concussion. Then the dagger in the heart when Zetterberg hurt his back, one of the absolute MVP players on the team who always plays great in big games, only to then lose Bäckström for the final as the final fork in the meat.

That really sucks and makes the appreciation for the silver medal even bigger. Add to that MÃ¥rts and his cluelessness how to pick his defensemen.

Congrats Canada. So very, very well deserved. I think that was the best defense I've ever seen. Wow.

Still proud of the boys, just wish they could've shown up today though. But I think that Canada made Sweden look bad too.

Sweden did show up but the were bringing a knife to a gun fight. Would have been a more interesting game with a couple more key players available.

BIG kudos for Sweden for taking the risk of opening it up and going for stretch plays instead of going rope a dope D shell and hoping for a PP or break. That took guts and it made me sick to listen to the CBC commentators harping about.

Way to go Canada. Great tourney. And having no players from the maple Leafs to taint this for me makes it even sweeter.

Wooohoooo!!!!!

oh man we win gold AND the NHL finally starts back up again #WINNING
