The Sabres are dead last in the league and only have four wins thus far. Even with a depleted roster the Leafs can beat them, the only thing that can save them is Miller.

Getting nothing from Kessel - JVR, Clarkson - Lupul, and Raymond is hot and cold. Leivo is a fwd that creates good things out there. And this is what we need right now, a spark.

Sabres could easily win with a new players' coach and a chance to start with a clean sheet.

Miller can win games all by himself.

So can our goalies.

Also I got loads of respect for Ted Nolan. He really makes them better and harder and they'll play like that for sure I know it. Nolan's really tough and so classy. He is one of those old coots who just comes in and brings it. Old school guy.

Hoping Rielly gets a bit of a longer leash against the Sabres, and get him to really show off his stuff. We need some offence and a good transition game at even strength and he would certainly help in that regard. Perhaps pair him up with Phaneuf (it's not like the Sabres have a boatload of firepower).

Wouldn't be surprised to see Sam Carrick called up vs Buffalo. Ted Nolan is already promising a tougher team. Couple that with the pre season game. Could be fun.

Carrick leads the Marlies with a +6 and he has 29 min in penalties already.

Be nice to see Devane on a line as well. Heard he is capable of playing center. With Kadri missing this weekend, gonna need at least two forwards IMO. Gotta be done with 7 Dmen for this particular home-n-home!!!

They are reading these boards and getting ideas. Using them sometimes. Carlyle knows what to do but his assistants don't sometimes. They take everything from the world and vacuum it inside. Then they blow it all out. Real hard.

Divane might be a possibility if this continues.

i agree about the schedule but its difficult when we are missing 2 centers and possibly kadri as well. 3/4 centers not in the line up would make things mighty difficult.
