Did Jack Edwards have a stroke or something? not being facetious
Definitely something but I don't think it was a stroke. Remembered reading that its somewhat unexplainable or maybe he's just trying to keep it private?

I think he confirmed he has some medical issue but they’re not sure what it is and only seems to affect his speech. Not a stroke

Holy shit, you guys weren't kidding about Jack Edwards. Until now I thought it was overblown. I'm listening to him and he sounds wasted. Like he's gone on a drinking binge or something. I hope everything's all right for him. Must suck that his most prized career asset is compromised. As painful as it must be to listen to him consistently for Bruins fans, I'm glad they kept him on despite his diminished speech.

It was about two-thirds which is a pretty bad beating in the NHL.

And to be fair, the first period was kind of bad, but yeah, the last 40 minutes were like 90-10.

Imo we didn't even play all that well, there's still a couple of gears for this team. Boston is a limited team, strong along the boards, decent but not impressive depth and well organized but that's about it. Seems that goes far as the league looks right now. We matched them along the boards, had better players overall and the intensity was enough for a comfortable win in the end, even if we got some bounces/goals when we needed them.

I hear him say recently that he's had various tests done to find the reason for his speech decline. The doctors haven't found anything definitive. He's been searching for answers for 18 months. Also, no medical episode such as a stroke. It's so tough to listen to. Sorry if someone already responded to this.
