I've actually read a couple of times about this:

"Sharp angle, no angle -- Quick's post-integration tactics are envied by many NHL goalies, including a technique copied widely after his Cup win. He moves on and off his posts seamlessly, so it's no surprise he gave up five dead-angle goals all season."

How can a system goalie be such an innovator :sarcasm:

Solid.

Love this write up, you dont see it often.

I called it last week Quicks weakness is his high glove and his over aggressive tendencies.

IF Quick plays rushes better and stay in the net more deep on rushes, he'd win vezinas left and right, The only thing he needs to work on his timing, and positioning on rushes. You can be aggressive, just not all the time. And he needs to understand that and work on it.

Niemi...Niemi has a lot of weaknesses. He cheats a lot on passes and he plays on anticipation too much which leaves him open to weak goals.

And his low blocker and five hole are pretty average at best. He does have a decent high glove and blocker though.
