Inspired by this statement, which wasn't that hard to check via the database, I wrote a script and ran it.

Games from the 2002/03 season onward were analyzed: the earlier ones do not have shot data. I added "juicy rebounds" - goals that were scored after a saved shot one second prior to it. The data is for regular season and playoffs combined.

Indeed @Michael Farkas was right: The Flower have given more goals on first shot than anyone else during that time span, however, I didn't calculate the number of games played, or the total time on ice during that time. I'll leave that exercise and analysis to others. However I added a column of average goals on first shots per season. That list, among those with a significant sample, is led by Ben Bishop, at 5.86 such goals. Top ten (eleven, actually) below.

NAME SEASONS GOALS G/S
MARC-ANDRE FLEURY 2003-2021 87 4.83
ROBERTO LUONGO 2002-2018 63 3.94
SERGEI BOBROVSKY 2010-2022 56 4.31
HENRIK LUNDQVIST 2005-2019 56 3.73
EVGENI NABOKOV 2002-2014 49 4.08
CRAIG ANDERSON 2002-2022 48 2.40
JACOB MARKSTROM 2012-2022 47 4.27
SEMYON VARLAMOV 2009-2022 47 3.36
MIIKKA KIPRUSOFF 2002-2012 46 4.60
CAM WARD 2005-2018 46 3.29
JONATHAN QUICK 2008-2022 46 3.07

The full list is attached. Also attached is a list of games where more than one goalie (not necessarily on different teams) surrendered goals on first shots. Never more than two such goals were scored in the traceable period. In the games where there is no data on the goalie saving the shots (some before 2007), substitute goalies were not evaluated. In the games without the shot data (e.g. before 2002, or some deficient afterwards) the goalies were not evaluated.

I'll think I'll add this as a page on my website.

A) Thanks for doing this, this is very cool.
B) We have scientifically proven just how valuable my eyes are. My eye test is a walking, talking objective dataset and, frankly, that makes me an absolute juggernaut...

...or I got lucky with the confirmation bias of having seen every single Penguins game since April 2007 and counting haha
