It was a lingering issue with his wrist.....if the Canucks were in a fight for the final wildcard, he'd probably be playing.......but shutting him down for an extended time was probably the prudent move.

Still, they need get him back into the lineup for at least a couple of games before the end of the regular season.

What a crummy time it's been for the Coyotes fans. Our current owners have deserved the brickbats thrown at them in recent years, but you can't underestimate what it means to have local, longtime owners who care about the team.

With the exception of the Griffiths family, the ownership history of our team has been pretty spotty. Somehow, we survived the wretched mid-eighties. I've almost blanked it out of my mind, thanks to our current happier situation.
