The complete 180 from having no defensive depth with decent forward depth to great/excellent defensive depth to no forward depth is incredible.

This defense and a healthy Demko/Lank combo next year keeps you in every game regardless of the forwards.

They physically rotated on that PP like they’ve never done before this season. It was a completely new look regardless of their PK.

Maybe coaching actually did some coaching given they couldn't just fail back on their standard pp plays.

We really need favors from the Avs, Jets and ugh... Oilers to slow them down.

There's a realistic shot Minny or Edmonton fall out though. The Wild have been cursed with every injury under the sun and the Oilers seem to be imploding. Although, they're injured too.

Bains is such a great AHL player, just doesn't have that next gear though. Maybe he finds a way to break through.
