GDT: [GM65] Vancouver Canucks @ Calgary Flames | Wed, Mar. 12th | 6pm | SNP | Biggest Game of the Season

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.
Sounds like Hughes will be back, which is good since Hronek almost played half the game yesterday. Assume Lankinen will start ... because they have no choice.

If they lose in reg, going to be hard to see how they make the playoffs.

But you have to score.

Good thing is Calgary doesn't put up alot of goals either.

I'm annoyed that Hughes got hurt because he was likely on his way to a 2nd straight Norris. No chance he beats out Makar now, especially since the latter went God mode after the break. It's frustrating how anemic our support scoring is compared to Colorado, where he gets to play with MacKinnon and Necas.

Hughes is 1B for me. At this point, I can't justify putting him 1A given how Makar is playing. But nobody else (aside from maybe Werenski) is close to their level.

Who cares lol. How is any of this relevant to anything in the GDT?

Werenski imo should win Norris.

Didn't really think our effort was lacking last night, just cohesion and puck luck.

Hopefully those two things are in a bit more abundance tonight.

Just win.
Yea the team worked hard last night and just didn't get any bounces (especially Joshua). The bounces will come, as long as they keep up their effort they should be in games against the bubble and bottom teams. But the team doesn't have the skill to keep up with the top teams no matter how hard they work.

M-Petey had a tough game last night and against Dallas as well, does it seems like his play has dipped a bit recently, or is it just me?
