I don't know what the first words mean but there's 0% chance he retires. Permanently LTIRed, possible. Most likely scenario is that some goalie deficient team would be willing to roll the dice on him.

Was texting about this with my friend. Minnesota, Vegas, Edmonton, Utah, Carolina, Philadelphia, and Detroit should all have various degrees in interest in Demko if he's made available in the off-season.

He's at a point in his career where you basically have two options,

1. Have our doctors look at it and manage day to day
2. Have Russian doctors look at it and manage day to day

Except option 2 doesn't exist anymore.

Well they waited long enough to prove this management group hasn't a clue and Demko might be LTIR or they will have to add another sweetener to move him.

EP40 should be well rested after the 4 nations, lots of time watching.
Again, this management group waited too long, now they have international proof of a severe decline and the world knows Allvin's mistake. Ironic that Pettersson didn't want to sign that contract just then, maybe he knew something.

so they have 63pts in 55 games, a .572 pts% and they need like another 33 points in 27 games, a .611pt% and now no Miller, injured Hughes, missing Demko and an MIA Pettersson.

Again, I think Demko's issue is his hip(s). Same as what happened to Schnieder. Even the time off and injury descriptions.

Vegas well they are who they are. Very mercenary with only one goal, the Stanley Cup. They don't marry players, once done they move on and get the best available to replace that spot or trade away a player to make room. Not like here, "can't trade the flow", "we love our huggy bear", kill the franchise but let them play out their careers here, we ran out of time, for what is unknown it seems to take months to years to see how the players are doing, so it isn't likely hockey.
