And Myers is constantly paired with our best defenceman Hughes, or when he's out, he gets paired with Marcus Pettersson.

And he still manages to be a lability.

Then you factor in that he's 11th in the NHL in minor penalties taken this season. He's constantly putting us down a man.

I'm so sick of watching this player get any sort of ice time, let alone being one of the top ice time leaders on the entire team.

I agree Myers sucks. My comment was directed at the "Myers doesn't get critisized" part. I want Myers traded after this season, if we can.

Vegas has owned the neutral zone. Very good there. They have 2 or 3 forwards almost parallel to each other, skating, so there's always a passing option. The Canucks have to stifle this. If they do, they win imo.

My hope is that Bill Regan being at the bench is specifically to monitor Pettersson's alleged ongoing injury, and he's making the assessment whether he should be shut down for the long term if it is indeed what has been ailing him.

There's no reason he should be playing if this has all just been because of an injury. You'd hope those steps are being taken now to shut him down.

since december 1st, myers leads our defensemen in 5v5 xGF% with 53% (not including EP25, who has played 4 games)

Sad fact. Canucks wouldn't win a best-of-20 series against Vegas in the post-season.....and without Hughes, they'd be in tough to even make the playoffs.

It's really something Alvin needs to think about when he has to decide on being 'a buyer' or 'seller' at the TDL.
